Country music comedy act
The Devil’s Prefects started out as a side project for two of the guys from ‘festival favourites’ Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs. They are a country music comedy act: "They do for country music what Scooby Doo did for paranormal investigation." is a quote that seems to sum them up.
Their zombie apocalypse song "Shoot 'Em In The Head" was described by The Official Walking Dead Facebook Page as "Sweet". The songs are interspersed with comedy banter that has entertained many an audience.
They have spent the last 7 years touring the show around the country and have spent their summers playing the festival circuit. Some of the festivals they have performed at include Glastonbury, Bearded Theory, Watchet and The Godney Gathering. They are also regulars at the Something Else family of festivals.
They have recently added a new member to the lineup to make three vocals, one guitar, one banjo, a bullhorn, a stomp box and cowboy hats.
A proper pub. Regular live music, plus open mic night every 2nd, 3rd, 4th and (5th) Wednesday.
