TWM Live formally invites artists under 18 to participate in our upcoming Battle of the Bands event at Three Wise Monkeys, part of Independent Venue Week 2025, This nationwide event offers incredible exposure for young musicians.
We believe our local area is brimming with talented young artists who can greatly benefit from this opportunity to showcase their skills in a supportive and nurturing environment. Each heat will have one of Colchester’s finest local band to host the night and play a small set to close the night.
Event Details:
– Heat 1: Monday, 27th January 2025. Guest Band: RAD PITT
– Heat 2: Tuesday, 28th January 2025. Guest Band: SHED
– Heat 3: Wednesday 28th January 2025. Guest Band: BRIDGET
– Grand Final: Tuesday 1st April 2025. Guest Band: PET NEEDS
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:45 PM (please note there will be no under 18s in the venue past 9:00 PM)
Venue: Three Wise Monkeys, Colchester
Ticket Price: £4 (with a £1 donation to the Brightlingsea Free Festival, a community-run festival)
