We are genuinely excited to welcome Rebecca Leek and Cameron Mackie aboard. With sincere thanks for their support, it is our absolute pleasure to give you an opportunity to experience their outstanding musicianship and know you will enjoy the "lovely vibe" that other audiences have described.
Rebecca Leek is an writer, teacher, musician, speaker and presenter. "A joy to listen to" as a musician and workshop leader, she performs predominantly folk and traditional maritime music in and around East Anglia. Rebecca is a published author and poet, and presents a popular poetry podcast, The Ditty Bag. Aptly hailed as "Uncommonly excellent", Rebecca will be playing accordion, whistles and ukulele to share traditional folk and maritime music.
Expect to be mesmerised by the smooth tones that singer songwriter Cameron Mackie produces. His folk sound and songwriting has a transcending quality that sounds like it originates from a bygone era. Performing regularly at open mic nights in Colchester and further afield, Cameron's performances seem effortless - in such a way that there is a sense of ease that is arresting!
