TWM Live presents Phoenix Lake, performing live at Three Wise Monkeys, Colchester for a night of heavy rock.
Originally formed as Descending Angels in 2018, guitarists Ash Wilson and Zak Smith recruited Lana Phillis as vocalist and later became Phoenix Lake, completing the line-up with drummer Joe Synnott.
The band are described as a female-fronted melodic metal outfit, with comparisons to Within Temptation, Parkway Drive, and Evanescence.
Their debut EP, Beyond The Flames, was written before the COVID-19 pandemic and later re-recorded and released following several iterations.
