Lunchtime Recital: David Dunnett – Norwich Cathedral

Moot Hall, 17 Feb 2026

Organist Emeritus, Norwich Cathedral

Retiring collection in aid of the Friends of the Moot Hall Organ

David Dunnett returns to the Moot Hall for this recital following an extraordinary 29-year tenure at Norwich Cathedral, where he served as Organist and Master of Music from 1996 to 2007, and subsequently as Organist until 2025. He presided over nearly three decades of musical excellence at the heart of Norwich’s civic and liturgical life.

Alongside his cathedral duties, he directed the Norwich Philharmonic Chorus for 28 years and has remained active as a teacher, examiner, and recitalist. Renowned for his musicianship, technical command, and deep understanding of the organ, this appearance marks a welcome return by one of the region’s most respected musical figures.
