Tom Meighan is an English singer, best known as the former lead vocalist for the rock band Kasabian. He enjoyed large-scale success with Kasabian in the 2000s and 2010s.
He has been compared to Liam Gallagher, who he has referred to as the “perfect frontman”.
Meighan finished 13th in Radio X’s poll of the greatest frontmen.Meighan was born in Blaby, Leicestershire, England, on January 11, 1981. He began his music career in the early 2000s, forming the band Kasabian with guitarist Sergio Pizzorno, bassist Chris Edwards, and drummer Ian Matthews. The band released their debut album, Kasabian, in 2004. The album was a critical and commercial success, reaching number one in the UK Albums Chart. Kasabian have since released six more albums, all of which have been successful in the UK.
Meighan is known for his energetic and charismatic live performances. He has been praised for his powerful vocals and his ability to connect with the audience. In 2013, he was ranked number 13 on Radio X’s list of the greatest frontmen of all time.
