St. Botolph’s is a Church of England Church which is part of the Diocese of Chelmsford and in the Episcopal area of Colchester.
We share a relationship with other churches within the town. Examples of shared activities include a Bible Study Group and worship with Castle Methodist Church.
St Botolph’s also helps support the Night Shelter, the Soup Run for the homeless and the Street Pastors as well as other social and Christian action in the town and further afield.
When you visit this Church you are not visiting a museum but a lively centre of worship and music. The Church has a Choral Society and an orchestra that perform concerts throughout the year. Because of the excellent acoustics and comfortable surroundings many other musical groups also use the church.
