Vona Vella + Greene

VONA VELLA
After support from BBC 6, Radio 1 and their 130k monthly listeners, Vona Vella are set to release their new album, keeping those soft intimate moments weaving in and out. Imagine Belle & Sebastian meets The Strokes, and befriends The Coral on the way.

The band emerged from the Midlands, and soon collected members from London and Leeds. After signing with Strap Originals and previously touring with The Libertines & Pete Doherty, they’ll be venturing on their own UK tour this year.

GREENE is the project of Singer/Songwriter Joseph (Joe) Anderton. A former member of various band lineups, and frequent collaborator with artists as a songwriter, producer and multi instrumentalist, Greene channels Anderton's love for pop melodies and rich harmony. Lyrically, Anderton can be tongue in cheek and witty, but beyond this lies a more introspective take on topics. Currently residing in South East London, UK.

For Greene, Anderton draws on acts such as Big Star, Tom Petty & The Coral to name a few. Whilst lyrically drawing comparisons to Loudon Wainwright III.
