Traditional Fiddle Music - Free Concert

Colchester's own top folk fiddler, Dave Shepherd of the internationally acclaimed Blowzabella, who have made many albums and still appear at major festivals, has formed a trio with Essex musicians Kevi May (fiddle) and Stuart Moffat (guitars and bouzouki), both from the band Kegs.

After their first advertised gig in Castle Hedingham, they are coming to St Leonard’s, Hythe Hill, for a free event. Expect European influenced traditional tunes, as well as some self-written items. This gig continues St Leonard's innovative folk and literary events, including celebrating Shakespeare and St.
George and a June gig from songwriter Pete Morton
