Unbelievably, 10th January 2026 is the 10th anniversary of David Bowie’s death, and 2026 will be the 10th year that THE PRETTIEST STARMAN have paid tribute to this remarkable man. Friday 16th January 2026 sees the next instalment of this heartfelt fan show, a sometimes moving, but mainly joyous and uplifting, celebration of the genius of DAVID BOWIE.
Original TPS members Anton Pace (vocals, blue 12-string, saxophone), Paul Rutterford (vocals, guitar), Nelson Nice (vocals, bass, 6-string) and Cara Bruns (keyboards, vocals) will be joined by guitarist Lincoln Grounds to perform some of David’s best-loved songs, almost exclusively from his golden 1970s output (with one rather important track from 1969 thrown in). Expect to hear singles and album tracks from Space Oddity, Hunky Dory, Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane, Diamond Dogs, Station to Station, Lodger and Heroes. The songs are really the stars of this show, not the performers on stage. The more you join in and sing along, the better it will be! If the previous sold-out Prettiest Starman events are anything to go by, this will be a brilliant and unmissable night.
Please don’t come expecting to see a looky-likey Bowie show… this show really isn’t that; but (fear not) there will be plenty of ACTUAL Bowie to watch on the big screen.
Fellow fan, DJ Ben Howard, who has been actively involved in the show since its inception in 2016, will once again be presenting an expertly curated selection of the MainMan’s recorded material in between the live sets.
So do come along, sing your hearts out, dress up if that’s your thing – but mainly, just get here and be a part of this special evening!
If we can sparkle he may land tonight (sadly he won’t, of course, but we like to think he’ll be listening in…)
