One-man live show with simultaneous guitar, percussion, bass, piano, and drums
Rodney Branigan isn't just talented — he’s "impossibly talented" (Music Connection Magazine). Texas-born and UK-based, Branigan has carved a reputation for his groundbreaking Solitary Ensemble — a one-man live show where he plays guitar, percussion, bass, piano, and drums simultaneously, creating the sound of a full band with no backing musicians.
His unforgettable live performances have taken him around the world, captivating audiences at major festivals and intimate venues alike. After stepping in for Paloma Faith at Glastonbury Festival, founder Michael Eavis hailed Branigan as an "excellent replacement." Elsewhere, audiences were "mesmerized, mouths to the floor" (Country Child Magazine), and critics praised him as "a master of guitar pyrotechnics" (Acoustic Review).
Beyond his technical prowess, Branigan delivers soulful, emotive songwriting that resonates long after the final note. As Americana UK puts it: "The real magic is his ability to pen honest, passionate songs that stay with you."
Now preparing to release his new album The Solitary Ensemble — recorded in Austin, Texas — Rodney continues to build his reputation as one of the most innovative and exciting solo performers today.
