Making a welcome return to Colchester Arts Centre, Jazz Dynamos are a five-piece band playing your favourite "guilty pleasures" from the 70s and 80s re-imagined in a way you've never heard before, transformed with a mix of jazz, bossa, and samba. Their unique set of exuberant, entertaining, and original contemporary jazz arrangements includes hits by Dolly Parton, Wham, Human League, Madonna, U2, The Police, A-ha, David Bowie, and many more... Fronted by world-class vocalist Lucy Randell, Jazz Dynamos have performed sold-out shows at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s and Soho’s Pizza Express Jazz Club, and played at festivals across the UK and Europe, (including their debut on the main stage at Pub in the Park festival last summer) as well as private events for British and Hollywood royalty.

Jazz Dynamos feature Lucy Randell (vocals and percussion), Mark Adelman (keyboard), Anders Janes (double bass), Dominique Metz (drums and backing vocals) and Stewart Curtis (sax, flute, and piccolo).
