NKISI
Nkisi is an electronic musician and artist-composer whose work spans live performance, sonic research, and energetic experimentation. With roots in the Congolese diaspora and a deep commitment to African cosmologies, her music combines rhythmic-noise elements with ancient rhythmic structures, ambient-industrial strategies, and metaphysical inquiry.

She is the co-founder of the now-legendary NON Worldwide. She leads research through her project The Anomaly Index, which explores sonic phenomena, myth-science, rhythm, and vibration as counter-epistemologies.Her live sets are known for their intensity, bridging the dance floor and the ritual site, while her compositions often draw on esoteric knowledge systems, Kongo cosmology, and non-Western conceptions of time.

Through both scholarly and sonic means, Nkisi investigates how sound acts as a carrier of ancestral memory, psychic disturbance, and hidden knowledge. Her recent work explores paracoustics and sonic phenomena that resist categorisation, such as haunted frequencies, anomalous recordings, and the limits of human perception.

BADA DUUM
Hailing from Colchester, Bada Duüm is a dark, bass-heavy electronic music project by Lulah Harper. The project mixes industrial sounds, baile funk, and afrobeat using electronics, cello, and voice.

LEE ASHCROFT
“Moody beats for a post-lockdown hellscape. Contains theremin.”
“Mournful bass, synth washes and lethargic rhythms, born from anguish, leading to hope.”

NUKLEOPATRA
Poignant lyrics take aim at tech corporations, the fossil fuel industry, and social media, crafting a soundtrack for the impending apocalypse inspired by industrial, hyperpop, and hiphop. Colchester's own doomsday prepper princess combines sampling and songwriting for a set of tightly produced techno-pessimist bangers.
