KEGS were formed in 1994 thus 2024 marked the band’s thirtieth year. Their repertoire is extensive and eclectic, drawing upon the international folk tradition and pop culture as well as self-penned music and original songs. KEGS are renowned for their interesting arrangements and tight sound.

ELINOR is a remarkably accomplished melodeon player She plays with enviable sensitivity and is a founder member of the band.

BOBBY plays a Miyazawa silver flute and the whistle. She has an ear for harmony and likes her beer.

KEVI plays the fiddle with style and proficiency. She is also a founder member and comes from a musical Essex family, her father (Jon May) and uncle (Adrian May) both being musicians.

STUART plays the guitar and has developed a style of playing through many years as a singer-songwriter that nicely complements those with whom he plays.
