Wise Woman bring a heady collision of lush vocal harmonies, cinematic cello and 90s girl power to the airwaves and ear drums.The group’s “startling and shimmering”(Folk Wales) songwriting blend of folk, jazz, pop and musical theatre sounds, has seen them enchant audiences far and wide, from Radio 3’ In Tune to Secret Garden Party, to opening for Radio 2 Folk Award Winners, The Young Uns.

From fenland witches, to the smoky underbelly of 1905 New Orleans, to 2022 protest marches in the USA, their intricate songs transport audiences on a theatrical dream ride through the lives of hidden women, real and imagined. This show will also feature 2024's new single "Home Safe," Built from the necessary phrase they've Whatsapped each other a thousand times and laden with "ridiculously perfect harmonies" (BBC Leeds), 'Home Safe' is a percussion fuelled celebration of friendship, and body empowerment for all.
