The WAEVE

Artist Profile

A coming together of Graham Coxon and Rose Elinor Dougall

The WAEVE is a coming together of two musicians, Graham Coxon (Blur) and Rose Elinor Dougall (The Pipettes), who have formed a new, singular, sonic identity, a powerful elixir of cinematic British folk-rock, post-punk, organic song-writing and freefall jamming.

A year on from their acclaimed eponymous debut album, The WAEVE have released their second studio album City Lights. A collection of 10 songs featuring lead tracks including ‘You Saw’, ‘City Lights’,‘Broken Boys’, ‘Song For Eliza May’ and ‘Moth to the Flame’, City Lights illustrates the evolution of their collaborative musicianship and sees the band’s sound solidified into something bolder, more expansive and self-assured. Produced by James Ford, the newly released album features Graham and Rose on vocals, as well as keyboards, guitar, bass guitar, drums and saxophone.
